This item is handcrafted at our workshop in Los Angles using the finest materials available.
LEATHER
– made from English bridle leather from the Wickett & Craig tannery in Pennsylvania
– leather is full grain, vegetable tanned and sourced from US steer hidesHARDWARE
– brass (gold) hardware is all solid brass, no plating
– steel (silver) hardware is a combination of stainless steel (buckles) and nickel plated steel or brass (rivets, stud work) -
CHOOSING THE RIGHT WIDTH
CHOOSING THE RIGHT WIDTH
5/8″ width : Designed mainly for use with our smaller collars but can be a good option for those who like a lighter leash. The clasp on this width is pretty lightweight so we don’t advise using this width for stronger dogs.
3/4″ width : Designed to be used with our 1″ and wider collars. A good strong leash in a width that feels comfortable in the hand.
1″ width : For stronger large breed dogs only. Keep in mind that leather leashes are much heavier than the nylon leashes you’ll find in pet stores.
