Our collars are sized according to your dog’s actual neck size.
Ideally, you’ll want your dog’s neck measurement to fall in the center range of the size collar you’re ordering.
For example, a size 14″ – 16″ collar will best fit a dog with an actual neck measurement of 15″.
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help measuring your dog.

Measure the center of your dog’s neck with a cloth measuring tape.
We’ll need a snug measurement, so pull the tape right up to your dog’s neck with no slack.
(Basically, it’s like taking your own waist measurement.)
For thick-coated dogs, pull the tape through the coat and down to the dog’s neck.

I adore my dogs’ new collars from CCC. We already owned two CCC waterproof nameplate collars in teal, and was ready for a new color. I ordered the same version in light brown for our 75 lb. goldendoodle and 35 lb. catahoula-whippet mix. These collars are super durable, and look brand new even after years of wear in the rainy PNW. I love the look of leather without the cracking that comes with leather. Two more selling points for me: made in USA and sewn-on nameplates. Unlike regular dog tags, the nameplates will stay put (without the risk of falling off if the dogs ever got lost). I highly recommend CCC’s products.

If your dogs go swimming and get dirty often, you must buy this collar. It is the best. All of our dogs have one, and as hard as they have tried to destroy them, they still all look brand new. The name plaques are beautiful and sit so flush they do not snag on anything the dogs tear through. Foxie is modeling how pretty she feels in her Mudpuppy after a long run and swim in the river. Squeaky clean!

We ordered a mudpuppy collar for our Labrador retriever. We are extremely pleased. This is a very high quality collar. The leather is soft, it’s color vibrant, tasteful, elegant. The brass plate and fittings are beautifully finished. Well worth the price for a quality item.

The shocking pink/brass combo is beautiful. My only issue is that I have purchased 2 of the same size mudpuppy collars. The collar with the name plate is at least an inch longer (if not more) than the collar without. The nameplate collar is very close to being too big and I will probably have to get it cut down & add another hole, so that’s unfortunate.

Durability is the theme for a future waterfowl dog that I am going to use with the collar. I’ll wait to see how it holds up in the snow/water/ice/wind etc. this coming duck season. Ideally, the color does not faint and it allows my dog to grow into when he is fully grown.

More like 4.5; I really am very happy with it. I don’t love the color; I was hoping the coral shade would have a little more orange, and Bean still pulls enough that the leash doesn’t feel comfortable on my hand or wrist (although that isn’t the company’s or the leash’s fault, and it’s a fine leash that I use with the other dogs). That said, Bean hasn’t met a waterbody she didn’t want to bellyflop into or a hose nozzle she didn’t want to fight, so I needed a collar that wouldn’t get damaged or (more importantly) smell like death after regular prolonged immersion in water. I don’t know the company at all and it’s pretty expensive, so it was a bit of a risk for me to spend the money on the MudPuppy collar and leash set with the personalized nameplate. Bean also likes to chew her collar/tags/harness if she possibly can (she isn’t quite a year old yet), so it was worth the personalization cost to me to have a tag that wouldn’t get lost. Truly doesn’t stink and is very easy to clean. I’ve had it about a month, and it’s gotten some rubbing stains on the buckle and leash attachment. I’m a lazy beastie, so believe that I cleaned it just by lathering my hands up with dish soap and rubbing down the collar under warm water and then dried it with a paper towel. May not be the most responsible or sustainable care for the collar, but it’s entirely clean again and took a minute at the most.
