Our Mudpuppy collars are perfect for down and dirty dogs or those who spend a lot of time in the water. They’re made of a rubber coated nylon webbing that cleans easily with soap and water and can be disinfected with diluted bleach. Measures 1″ in width and designed for dogs over 40 lbs.
– Hardware available in brass or steel.
– Matching leash measures 5′ in length.

Our collars are sized according to your dog’s actual neck size.
Ideally, you’ll want your dog’s neck measurement to fall in the center range of the size collar you’re ordering.
For example, a size 14″ – 16″ collar will best fit a dog with an actual neck measurement of 15″.
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help measuring your dog.

MEASURING YOUR DOG
Measure the center of your dog’s neck with a cloth measuring tape.
We’ll need a snug measurement, so pull the tape right up to your dog’s neck with no slack.
(Basically, it’s like taking your own waist measurement.)
For thick-coated dogs, pull the tape through the coat and down to the dog’s neck.

My Lab loves this collar ! The Mud Puppy line is excellent for hard playing dogs like mine. She’s in the ocean 3-4 times a week, and gets covered in sand as well. Leather would dry out and crack much sooner without taking extra care precautions. The collar is VERY strong, but thin and comfortable at the same time. No sharp edges or corners, and cleans easily with water and a wipe. I chose black with brass hardware for my Black Lab. The black blends in with her coat where you can hardly see it, and the brass hardware gives her a little touch of class, (and also corrosion resistance from the saltwater). I paired this with a 6 foot Muddy Puppy leash (same color & hardware) and it’s a solid / classy combo. Of note: For best fit be sure to measure your dogs neck correctly with a seamstress tape, don’t guess.
