Our Mudpuppy collection is perfect for down and dirty dogs or those who spend a lot of time in the water.
Made from scratch at the California Collar Co. workshop in Los Angeles.
– made of nylon webbing with a rubber coating
– completely waterproof and won’t absorb bacteria or odors
– can be cleaned with soap and hot water and disinfected with diluted bleach water -

CHOOSING THE RIGHT WIDTH
1/2″ width : Designed to be used with our 5/8″ collars. Can also be used by those looking for a lightweight leash for larger dogs.
5/8″ width : Designed to be used with our 5/8″ and 3/4″ collars. This is also a good option for larger dogs with good leash manners.
3/4″ width : Designed to be used with our 1″ and wider collars. A good strong leash in a width that feels comfortable in the hand.
1″ width : For stronger large breed dogs only. Keep in mind that leather leashes are much heavier than the nylon leashes you’ll find in pet stores.

Wow . . . I was ready to buy a leather leash for my 70 lb. Female Psycho-Lab who loves the beach, water, and anything outdoors. Then I came across the ‘Mud Puppy’ line and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. It’s very well made and strong, has an excellent feeling in the hand, and cleans up easily with water & a quick wipe with a micro-fiber towel. I chose black with the brass hardware and it is of excellent quality, fit, and finish. I chose a custom 6 foot length, to give my Pup a little extra room to walk freely, but not so much length I can’t reel her back in quickly if needed. Good Stuff !
