Perfect for more difficult to handle dogs or for those that have a tendency to slip out of their collars. Designed for dogs over 40 lbs.

Important Note:
Brass martingale chains can cause discoloration to the coats of lightly colored dogs. This is caused by the friction of the chain rubbing against the O-rings that are attached to the collar. Unfortunately, there’s not much that can be done to discourage this so we’d recommend choosing the Stainless Steel option if staining is a concern.
Be advised that martingale collars are designed mainly to help control your dog while walking and should not be worn 24-7.

Brass martingale chains can cause discoloration to the coats of lightly colored dogs. This is caused by the friction of the chain rubbing against the O-rings that are attached to the collar. Unfortunately, there’s not much that can be done to discourage this so we’d recommend choosing the Stainless Steel option if staining is a concern.
Our Stainless Steel chains are custom made for us out of solid polished stainless steel – they are not chrome or nickel plated. Stainless steel is a much harder metal than brass and generally won’t cause staining due to friction.
Remove martingale collars when not actively walking/training your dog. These collars are designed for walking your dog only and should not be left on when at home or at the dog park. Leaving a chain martingale collar on your dog all of the time increases the risk of coat staining and injury.

Our collars are sized according to your dog’s actual neck size.
Ideally, you’ll want your dog’s neck measurement to fall in the center range of the size collar you’re ordering.
For example, a size 14″ – 16″ collar will best fit a dog with an actual neck measurement of 15″.
Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help measuring your dog.

MEASURING YOUR DOG
Measure the center of your dog’s neck with a cloth measuring tape.
We’ll need a snug measurement, so pull the tape right up to your dog’s neck with no slack.
(Basically, it’s like taking your own waist measurement.)
For thick-coated dogs, pull the tape through the coat and down to the dog’s neck.
