This item is handcrafted at our workshop in Los Angles using the finest materials available.
LEATHER
– made from English bridle leather from the Wickett & Craig tannery in Pennsylvania
– leather is full grain, vegetable tanned and sourced from US steer hidesHARDWARE
– brass (gold) hardware is all solid brass, no plating
– steel (silver) hardware is a combination of stainless steel (buckles) and nickel plated steel or brass (rivets, stud work) -

Our collars are sized according to your dog’s actual neck size.
For example, a size 10″ – 11″ collar will best fit a dog with an actual neck measurement of 10″ – 11″.

MEASURING YOUR DOG
Measure the center of your dog’s neck with a cloth measuring tape.
We’ll need a snug measurement, so pull the tape right up to your dog’s neck with no slack.
(Basically, it’s like taking your own waist measurement.)
For thick-coated dogs, pull the tape through the coat and down to the dog’s neck.

Received the collars in about 2.5 weeks. Unfortunately, I did not have the forethought to condition the leather before putting it on my dog so he scratched the hell out of it in a day (he’s an itchy fella). I think if I conditioned the leather first, it may not have IMMEDIATELY looked so worn in. If your dog is itchy, I might avoid leather collars as they will look new for only about an hour. Otherwise, it’s nice quality (if not a little too stiff).
